Top 5 Tools Apps Performance in Sweden Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top tools apps in Sweden showed diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, as indicated by Sensor Tower data.

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy experienced a peak in weekly revenue at approximately $29.4K in late February. However, weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, reaching around 4.3K at the start of the quarter and settling at 3.4K by the end. Active users showed a consistent increase, surpassing 81.7K in mid-March.

AVG AntiVirus & Security saw a steady increase in revenue, peaking at $5.8K in late March. Downloads were more variable, starting at 1.5K and dropping to around 1.4K. Active users peaked at 39.7K in late February before slightly declining towards the quarter's end.

For the Capture App - Photo Storage, revenue peaked significantly at $27.7K in late March. However, downloads were minimal, never exceeding 16 per week. Active users remained low, with a slight dip to 92 in late March.

Avast Antivirus & Security maintained relatively stable weekly revenue, peaking at $3.3K in late March. Downloads hovered around the 1K mark, and active users reached a high of 17.9K in early February before decreasing slightly by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, ExpressVPN: Fast & Secure VPN observed a peak in revenue at $6.3K in late February. Downloads remained fairly steady, averaging around 1.1K weekly. Active users were stable, with a slight increase to 5.6K in early March.
